General Description
Air Pull Rivet-Nut Head – M8 – Screw On
The air pull rivet nut head has a size of M8 and is intended as a screw on head, used with an air rivet nut pull setter. Specifically, it is compatible with D1171691, D1151470, D1151472, D1151471, D1774136 and D1774137.
Function
The head screws on to air rivet nut pull setters that accept metric screw-on heads. A rivet nut of the correct thread size spins onto the head, and the tip of the setter is inserted into a predrilled hole. When activated, the pneumatic tool collapses the rivet nut, forming a secure bond with the surrounding material, and spins out of the rivet nut.
Applications
These machine screws are used with an air rivet nut pull setter, which is a pneumatic tool, to create threaded holes of a specific size. This is ideal for any context in which rivet nuts are needed, such as construction, metal fabrication, the automotive and aeronautics industries, and electronics.
