General Description
Blind Flange - Nominal Pipe Size 6" - Class 900
This solid flange's nominal pipe size is 6” with a total diameter of 15”. It has a pressure class rating of 900 and has 12 bolt holes. It is made of AMSE B 16.5 (steel) and comes in a thickness of 2.19”.
Function
The blind flange is a flange without a bore and is used to seal off pipe ends. The flanges can be used in systems that are operational or in expansion systems that are not yet operational. They allow easy access to the line and can be sealed and re-opened.
Applications
This solid flange is used in pipeline applications where liquid or gas is transported from one location to another.
