General Description
Non-sparking Combination Wrench - 11mm
The non-sparking combination wrench is made from an aluminum-bronze alloy. The wrench has a 11 millimeter opening and a 150 millimeter handle. This tool has an open end and a box end, both of which can be used to grip. The tool is beryllium free and Factory Mutual (FM) certified.
Function
The wrench is composed of an alloy that will not cause a spark if the wrench is dropped or struck against another metal or any other material. The wrench is mainly used to tighten, loosen or hold in place nuts, bolts and other fasteners.
Applications
The wrench is ideal for use in potentially explosive environments such as oil, chemical or manufacturing plants, as well as in other environments where there is danger of sparks igniting flammable dusts, liquids, vapors or solvents.
