General Description
Mining Light - Explosion Proof LED - 80W - 22.5 cm x 22.5 cm x 26.7 cm
The round waterproof mining light is 80 watts and measures 22.5 x 22.5 x 26.7 cm. The light, which has an IP66 waterproof rating, has a die-cast aluminum alloy housing treated with an anti-corrosion electrostatic spray. The lamp can be used with a 60 or 120 degree angle aluminum reflector. The light has a color temperature ranging from 2700 to 6500 Kelvin.
Function
The explosion proof LED mining light is powered electrically. The lamp's heat sink has cooling fins that provide excellent heat dissipation, thus preventing the unit from causing explosions in hazardous environments. The light can be mounted on a ceiling, wall, or freestanding pole to maximize light efficiency. The LEDs in these waterproof lights will come to full illumination when turned on without the warm-up delay found in fluorescent bulbs.
Applications
These waterproof lights are suited for use in mining, power plants or other environments where flammable vapors may exist. The LED lamps can be used to replace explosion proof fluorescent lights because the LEDs have a longer lifespan and are more energy efficient.
