General Description
LED Street Light - 120/150W
These streetlights are 120/150 watts, and provides up to 21,750 Lumens of brightness. The size of the unit is 65 x 30.5 x 19.6 cm and it has an IP66 waterproof rating. The light has a color temperature ranging from 4000 to 6500 Kelvin. The lifespan of the lamp is 50,000 hours. The surface of the unit is treated with an electrostatic spray that provides high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. An extra-clear tempered flat glass protector is placed over the LEDs.
Function
The LED street light is powered electrically. The lamp's materials are both flame retardant and provide excellent heat dissipation, thus preventing the unit from causing explosions in hazardous environments. The light, which is mounted on a pole either horizontally or vertically, is adjustable up to a 15 degree angle. The LEDs in the light will come to full illumination when turned on without the warm-up delay found in fluorescent bulbs. With its IP66 waterproof rating, the light can be placed outdoors in rainy conditions without risking damage to the unit.
Applications
LED streetlights are suited for outdoor hazardous environments where explosions may occur. The lights are typically used to illuminate parking lots, roads, highways, and driveways. LED lamps can be used to replace explosion proof fluorescent lights because the light emitted from LEDs has a longer lifespan, and they are more energy efficient in a lighting fixture.
