Sliding Door Closer and Spring - Hidden - Width 1250mm - Weight 80-120kg
The sliding door closer and spring is a hidden type, as well as a non-stay type. It has a slider length of 248mm and is suitable for use with doors weighing anywhere between 80-120kg with a width of 1250mm. The door closer is constructed from an aluminum alloy cover with a combination of pinion cap and double heat treated tempered springs. Included in this pack are the closer body, pinion cap, main arm assembly, standard screw pack and parallel arm bracket. There is also an additional screw back. It has been finished with a primer for the prevention of rust and corrosion, and the steel heat treated and precision machined for optimal strength and performance. Aesthetic finishes include a choice of ALM, GOL, BRZ and DBZ. Fasteners are a combination of self-reaming, self-tapping wood and machine screws.
Function
This sliding door closer functions to safely close the door it is installed onto. Instructions for installation are included in the manual. The closer features valves, which are adjustable, latching and sweep speed, along with an adjustable back check valve and optional staked valves. Regular, parallel and top jamb arm and bracket mounts are included, which offer a 15% power adjustment.
Applications
This door closer and spring is designed to provide safe and controlled closure of all heavy duty doors. The closer is ideal for offices, schools, public buildings and other areas where doors are expected to remain closed when not in use.
